Over time, the season between Halloween and Christmas began to feel shorter and faster, with Thanksgiving often reduced to a single busy day in the middle. The Thanksgiving Season was created to slow things down and bring gratitude, giving, service, and meaningful connection back into the entire month of November.

Meet the Creator

Lou Ward is a songwriter, performer, and storyteller with a passion for creating music that connects people on a deeper level.

A U.S. military veteran and lifelong music lover, Lou brings a grounded, real-world perspective into his songwriting—blending soul, storytelling, and purpose-driven themes. His music spans love, resilience, mental health awareness, and the everyday moments that define who we are.

The idea for The Thanksgiving Season™ was born from a simple realization:

gratitude shouldn’t be rushed—it should be lived.

Through a series of original songs—including “It’s Thanksgiving Y’all,” “My Rolling Crew,” “Service Never Ends,” “Family Recipe,” and “Celebrate You”—Lou set out to create a soundtrack for each part of the season, giving people not just something to listen to, but something to feel and do.
